Bryan Adams Wiki

Reckless is the first video album by Bryan Adams.

Content[]

The video album comprises six music videos, five with songs from the album Reckless and one (This Time) from the previous album Cuts Like a Knife. Some scenes of these videos taken together tell a story about Bryan finding Natalie (played by Lysette Anthony), an old girlfriend, after several years apart.[1]

Cast[]

In addition to the five band members Bryan Adams , Keith Scott, Dave Taylor, Pat Steward, and Johnny Blitz appearing as themselves, the cast of the music videos includes (in alphabetic order):

  • Bruce Allen as Manager
  • Lysette Anthony as Natalie
  • Adrian Formosa as Warehouse Cop I
  • Anthony Harrison as Motorcycle Cop
  • Garwin Sanford as Boyfriend
  • Marty Waldman as Reporter
  • Glenn Williams as Warehouse Cop II

Releases[]

Reckless was released on November 5, 1984. This was the first time that a video album was released the same day that the LP album was released. Reckless was available on Betamax, VHS and Video8 and later also on DVD. In 2014, a 30th Anniversary Super Deluxe Edition was released with three audio CD's and the video DVD.
